In today's world, coding and programming are among the most in-demand skills. Programmers and developers are needed in almost any company that has anything to do with technology, has an application, a website, or even any device controlled by software. To become one of these in-demand professionals, you need to know how to learn how to program.

Not surprisingly, with such incredible popularity and high demand, the supply starts to grow as well. Every day more and more people want to learn how to program. Questions such as "Where do I start to learn programming?" and "Where do I learn to program?" are becoming the most popular queries in all search engines. Despite the abundance of information on the subject, even the very beginning of this path can be quite confusing for a newcomer to the field.

After all, you don't know where or where to start?

Well, by the end of this guide you will have a detailed answer to this popular question. First, though, we'll need to answer another very important question - one that many people won't be able to answer. What is programming?

What Is Programming?

Before we begin our journey to becoming an expert in this field, there is one important thing you need to understand: what programming really is. Now, if you ask anyone on the street, you are likely to get a vague definition of something that allows computers to work and create games.

Starting to program and program some things is easy enough. You don't have to be a professional to do it.

It used to be difficult to learn how to program, but now there are modern programming tools/languages which will save you a lot of difficulties and allow you to concentrate on the task at hand.

Of course, to be a pro at programming you need a fair amount of experience. Obviously, you won't become a professional right away. You need some practice. And then you'll be good at it. You get what you need.

Almost everybody knows how to use a computer. But only a few people have taken the next step and learned to control the computer.

If you use software written by other people, you will always be limited by what those people thought you wanted. Learn to write software and you will only be limited by your imagination.

Programming will make you more creative, teach you to think more accurately, and teach you to analyze and solve problems logically.

If you want to learn how to program, but this is where the question is "how?

1.Books - the main source of material for a beginner in any field, of course it is easier to ask a known programmer "what is it" and "how is it" but not everyone has it, so you have to love it.

2.English - knowledge of this language you will need for the study of literature as many good books are written in English, of course you can look for translations, but often have to deal with curved translations

3.practice - you need to write every day at least a couple of lines of code and in order not to write the same thing every day you need to set a "goal" and this is the most important.

Why to be able to program? Everyone's "why" may be different. But without the "why" everything else is just useless. A good "why" is if you are interested and want to learn, an even better "why" is if you need to solve a specific problem.

You want to start programming. You've already done something. At the very least, you're reading this text. Many people just want to learn, and they don't do anything about it. But you've already taken a few steps on your way to being able to program.

You have the desire, and I hope you have the "why." That is, I hope you know why you want to be able to program. Because without a "why" it's hard to go any further.

Right after this follows the question "what I need to program in" and there may be many pitfalls and of course you will go to the internet with this question and they will advise you different programming languages but it's up to you. I chose for myself the language Python because it is very simple and it has a lot of different modules to extend the capabilities of the language.
